The driving circuits of 1616 LED Chinese dot-matrix display have been designed based on Proteus software
an embedded system simulation flat. The hardware circuits include three parts: AT89C51
driving circuits of row and column and LED display. The software functions were realized by assembly language after dot-matrix made. The physical circuits have been welded and the right dot-matrix display was realized. The results show the Proteus software application is an important practical value in the design of MCU
which will greatly shorten the development cycle and save development costs.
