    • Research advancements of liquid crystal in gas sensing field

    • Liquid crystal gas sensors, as an emerging research field, have demonstrated their potential in high sensitivity, fast response, and other aspects. Experts are constantly improving liquid crystal gas sensing methods, including gas detection of nematic liquid crystals and gas sensing of cholesteric liquid crystals. These sensing technologies include various methods such as functionalized substrates, characteristic geometric shapes, and liquid crystal droplets. The research on liquid crystal gas sensing provides new solutions for the field of gas detection and lays the foundation for its further development.
