Full-color liquid crystal device with high reflectivity by photo-electric modulation
“Technology News Broadcast: Breakthroughs have been made in the field of LCD displays. Researchers have successfully obtained a tilted spiral cholesteric device with high reflectivity and full-color display by utilizing photoelectric synergistic regulation technology. By introducing a chiral optical switch and balancing the spiral twisting force, the same reflection effect on the electric field strength before and after illumination was achieved. The construction of double-layer liquid crystal devices has increased the reflectivity by about 60%. This study provides new ideas for the preparation of full-color electronic paper devices and opens up new paths for the application of optical switch materials in liquid crystal devices.”
