Impact of silver nanowires on the writing time of optically driven liquid crystal displays
“Technology News Broadcast: As a new display technology, Optical Driven Liquid Crystal Display (ODLCD) has the advantages of low power consumption and erasable rewriting. However, the issue of long erase time limits its application. The latest research shows that by doping liquid crystal monomer RM257 and silver nanowires (AgNWs) into liquid crystal and exploring the effect of their concentration on the erase time, the erase time of ODLCD has been successfully reduced. This research achievement is of great significance for improving the performance of ODLCD and promoting its development in practical applications.”
