手性螺旋结构液晶由于其固有的布拉格反射特性可以广泛应用于滤波器件中。结合模板化技术,研究了单层结构的多波长蓝相液晶滤波器,通过多次液晶重灌工艺,分别制备了具有2个和3个反射峰的液晶滤波器,验证了设计的可行性,且各反射波长和带宽与设计参数具有很好的一致性。同时研究了单层结构的带宽可调胆甾相液晶滤波器,通过向胆甾相液晶模板中多次灌入反射峰在模板本征反射峰中心波长周边的胆甾相液晶,实现单层胆甾相液晶滤波器的带宽拓展。实验结果表明:多波长液晶滤波器中心波长与设计的中心反射波长最大偏移量仅为16 nm,胆甾相液晶的带宽可拓宽96%,并且可以继续拓宽。上述单层手性螺旋结构液晶滤波器制成工艺均具有良好的可扩展性和重复性。
The chiral induced liquid crystals (LCs) can be widely used in filter devices due to the Bragg reflection. With templating technology
a single-layer structure multi-wavelength blue phase liquid crystal(BPLC) filters was investigated. By multiple liquid crystal refilling processes
LC filters with two and three reflection peaks was fabricated
and the reflection wavelength and bandwidth of the filters matched well with the design parameters. Meanwhile
the bandwidth tunable cholesteric liquid crystal(CLC) filter of single layer structure was investigated. By multiple refilling the CLCs of designed reflection peak into the CLC template
the broadband single-layer structure CLC filter can be achieved. The experimental results show that the maximum shift of the center wavelength is only 16 nm. Moreover
the bandwidth of the cholesteric liquid crystal can be broadened by 96% and can continue to expand. The manufacturing processes of the single-layer chiral spiral structure liquid crystal filter have good scalability and repeatability.
