In this paper, we used Helmert methodology in terms of Helmert type for estimating variance component (HTEVC) and integrated multi-station intersection least squares (MSI-LS) and HTEVC to process the joint radar and photoelectric-theodolite measurements. The mathematical model and measuring geometry were introduced. The estimation processes and models of HTEVC were illustrated. The method that integrated posteriori estimation into the MSI model was investigated. Finally, the effectiveness and feasibility of our method were certified by example data.
